Sky Poem

I see a gallery of sky paintings

Gold frames encasing cloud-swept

Wind brushed across clear blue.

Through dark, a colour nods to season’s

Slight descent beyond summer’s long eve

Of shades. Ink blots dot the gently fading light.

I often think skies –  such an expanse

Of each singular day and night into years.
